Poland is Rising Rapidly in the Rankings
Poland ranked 18th among nationalities visiting the Dominican Republic in 2024. A total of 65,849 Poles arrived here, showing that our country has an increasing share in the Dominican tourism market (compared to previous years). However, another statistic is more interesting – if we look at the tourists’ place of residence, it turns out that only 37,792 people flew from Poland. What about the rest? Almost half of Poles visiting the Dominican Republic live abroad! The largest number of people fly from the United Kingdom, Canada, and the USA, confirming that the Polish diaspora has taken a liking to this paradise destination. A similar trend is visible among Ukrainian citizens – only just over 5,000 Ukrainians flew directly from their country, while almost 40,000 travelers arrived in the Dominican Republic from other countries.
