Casa Dominicana, together with the Polish-Dominican Chamber of Commerce, invites you to explore the Business Mission to the Dominican Republic.

The main objective of the Mission is to provide entrepreneurs and investors with meetings with potential Dominican business partners suitable for each economic sector. Another objective is to provide essential knowledge regarding the characteristics of the Dominican market (legal and tax issues), competition, consumer profile, and the largest companies in the region.

On-site support will be provided by the largest institution responsible for investment and trade in the Dominican Republic. The assistance of such an important local institution closely connected to business and possessing a privileged network of contacts throughout the country is crucial for the highest effectiveness of the Mission. It is worth mentioning that during the Mission we plan meetings with the Polish Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Ministers of the local government, the President of the capital Santo Domingo, and selected experts from relevant economic sectors depending on the Mission’s profile.

The planned date is September during the largest international business trade fair HUB CAMARA, which takes place in the Dominican Republic at that time. This timing will allow you to familiarize yourself with the event’s potential or obtain financial support from institutions such as the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP).

Why the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC?

  • Over $25 billion invested from 2009 to 2019 in foreign direct investment (FDI) by countries such as: USA, Canada, Mexico, Spain. This represents 8% of global FDI and 49% of regional FDI.
  • Steadily growing GDP despite the pandemic. Reports forecast growth of over 5% in 2022!
  • Export market resilient to the pandemic. Export growth of 85% compared to 2020 and 35% growth compared to 2019.
  • Enormous potential for the tourism, real estate, renewable energy, and export of goods produced by the Dominican Republic sectors.
